It's important to note that travelers and visitors to Italy be aware of the the Italian National Holiday Observances with some "Local Observances". Your travel plans may be affected because of these Italian National Holiday Observances with some "Local Observances". Some museums or places that you may want to go to may be closed or the public transportation system (trains, buses, trams, etc.) may be operating on a holiday or limited schedule. So you will need to plan accordingly.
